EFT
Emotional Freedom Techniques™
A
Universal Healing Aid
EFT was
developed
by Gary Craig, who is passionate in sharing his process with all
who are interested. This is how Gary describes his EFT:
In simplest terms,
EFT is an emotional form of acupuncture except that we don't use
needles. Instead, we tap with the fingertips to stimulate certain
meridian points while the client is "tuned in" to the problem. We are
still learning why EFT (and its many cousins) works so well. The
existing theory is that "the cause of all negative emotions is a
disruption in the body's energy system."
Based on impressive new discoveries involving the body's subtle
energies, EFT has been clinically effective in thousands of cases for
Trauma and Abuse, Panic and Anxiety, Fears and Phobias, Depression,
Addictive Cravings, Children's Issue, and hundreds of symptoms,
including pain relief, headaches, body pains and breathing
difficulties. Properly applied, over 80% achieve either
noticeable improvement or complete cessation of the problem. It
is the
missing piece to the healing puzzle.
The subtle
energies that circulate throughout the body have been largely ignored
(until recently) by western scientists. As a result, our use
of them for emotional and spiritual healing has been sparse at best.
With EFT, however, we consider these subtle energies to be the front
running cause of emotional upsets. As a result, we generate results
that are FAR beyond those of conventional methods.
EFT is a
Doorway to the
new
Healing High-Rise. It is where a growing number of newcomers to this
exciting field get their start. We now have thousands of practitioners
using EFT throughout the world.
Compared to
other
techniques,
EFT is usually quite gentle and substantial relief is often achieved
with little or no pain.
This is not true for everyone, however. Some people's issue are
so intense that the mere mention of them causes emotional or physical
pain. Although truly serious instances of this (sometimes called
abreaction's) are most likely to occur in seriously emotionally damaged
people (best estimate is less than 1% of the population), newcomers to
EFT are advised to exercise common sense in this regard and not go
where they aren't qualified.

TAT
TAPAS ACUPRESSURE TECHNIQUE
TAT
was developed by
acupuncturist, Tapas Fleming in 1993. She had been using another
process to eliminate allergies for her patients, but that process
sometimes required that patients stay completely away from the allergen
for 24 hours. Tapas was concerned that her pregnant patients might have
to avoid necessary nutrients. With TAT there is no need avoid
allergens. Tapas realized that her new process was also effective in
treating many issues other than allergies. TAT uses a simple pose which
has the client holding 4 acupressure points while going through a 7
step process which provides guidelines to focus thinking about
the target issue being treated.
USING TAT FOR TRAUMA
The
TAT
pose,
along with your focus on the trauma or other target, creates
a connection between the cells’ memory and your function of
vision. The TAT pose itself generates energy in your brain's vision
centers. When you “re-view” the trauma, it becomes physically, mental
and emotionally integrated within moments.
Tapas writes in
her
instruction
manual:
In
my work
as an
acupuncturist, I see the human body as an energy field that can become
cluttered with pockets of stagnant energy or that can be open and allow
its own and other energies to flow freely through it. The cells in
which old traumas are stored operate in a survival
pattern that is based on something that is no longer real or current
for anyone but the person maintaining the pattern. When an unresolved
trauma impedes the flow of energy in the body, that energy usually
become stored or stuck in a particular part of the body, often the
organ
most directly associated with the trauma. It might be the lungs’ memory
of coal dust, the heart's memory of a deep betrayal, the stomach's
memory
of poisoned food, the back of the head's memory of a crushing blow, and
so forth.
The
most
frequent
question asked before TAT is used for a trauma has been “If I
treat this memory, will I remember it anymore?” TAT does not erase the
memory; it eliminates the emotion/physical stress connected to the
trauma. The trauma will become easier to remember; however, the need to
remember will diminish. At times the memory that was terrifying 20
minutes earlier will be boring after TAT treatment.

CiTX
COMPREHENSIVE
internal TREATMENT
This
technique
grew out of work by Dr. Larry Nimms who developed BSFF (Be Set Free
Fast) as a process to effectively initiate healing at a deep
profound level for many different categories of issues. BSFF
began as a "tapping on a few Acupressure points" process, but Larry
made
a wonderful discovery, that clients could just imagine doing the
tapping without losing any effectiveness. He then developed
the next generation of BSFF called Instant BSFF (iBSFF). This
therapy would have the client read to their subconscious mind, a set of
instructions describing the iBSFF treatment and whenever there
would be an issue to treat, they merely had to instruct their
subconscious
mind to do the treatment. See the BSFF web site
www.BeSetFreeFast.com .
After using
BSFF for over a
year,
Dan revised the instant BSFF "instructions to the subconscious" to make
them more comprehensive and named the new process "Comprehensive
internal Treatment." The CiTX instructions have one's
subconscious select the most effective therapy or technique to use for
a specific time and for a specific issue. With CiTX clients chose a cue
word and then use that cue to begin the treatment whenever they desire.
This process seems so simple that it has been difficult for some people
to accept as serious. Generally, CiTX is introduced to clients who
present with more complex issues and would be expected to be in therapy
for a period of months.
